MMK says sees no possibility of buyback from foreigners

MOSCOW, Aug 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) sees no possibilities of buying back its shares from foreigners, Ilya Nechayev, manager of the investor relations department, said on Tuesday.

"We see at the moment that many issuers carry out tender offers of buyback for foreign owners,” Nechayev said.

“But we also see some restrictions for the firms on the list of certain states that will not allow (MMK) to fulfill a similar procedure."
